Public Enquiry

During the Public Enquiry, the Ministry of the Environment will assign one or several investigators according to their qualifications or experience. Mauritanian law also allows the project promoter to add some of their own investigators to join this panel.

To ensure that your project will get as favourable reception as possible, we recommend that you bring some experts in, and we can advise on who to choose. We can also guide you through the public enquiry process so that you are not asked to do more than you are legally obliged to.
