Laboratory Analysis

We do not carry out laboratory analysis ourselves but we can outsource the work to laboratories in Dakar and Nouakchott. Our choice of laboratory will depend on your budget, level of accuracy required, and the parameters that need to be tested. We only use laboratories that have already been used by and approved by international mining companies.

In certain situations we advise field testing, especially in cases where parameters can be affected by storage, eg tests for coliforms. However, not all parameters can be measured in the field with sufficient accuracy, but we can advise on this. We do our own field testing. During a survey of

wells and standpumps in southern Mauritania, Anglo Articles discovered levels of arsenic at much higher concentrations than the WHO threshold limits. We can carry out tests on soil, rock, water and fruit juices.
